Second Spain training session before Belgium match
On a sunny but cold morning in Las Rozas the team took to the Pitch A for another training session as part of their preparations for the two matches that the national team has ahead of them this window.
The matches against Belgium and England are sure to be very demanding. As such, the players available (after the withdrawal through injury of Amaiur Sarriegi and before the incorporation of Cristina Martín-Prieto in the afternoon) were put through their paces while fully focused on their goal. Lucía Corrales and Ainhoa Alguacil joined the session. The players from Sevilla and Valencia, who are from the U-23 squad, completed Montse Tomé's working group.
During the training session, both physical and tactical aspects were worked on, with the Belgian national team, who they will face on Friday 21 at 18:45h at the Ciutat de València (La 2, TVE), in mind. With the first three points up for grabs in the qualifying phase for the 2025 edition of the UEFA Women's Nations League in which Spain are defending their title.
