Spain arrive in Portugal!

The Spanish women’s national team have arrived in the Portuguese city of Porto to play their third UEFA Women’s Nations League qualifying match against Portugal. The match, scheduled for Friday, 4th April, will take place at the Estádio Capital do Móvel at 20:45. Montse Tomé’s squad are all set to face the current leaders of Group A3.

The team travelled by plane from Madrid to the city that sits on the banks of the Douro River as it flows out towards the Atlantic Ocean. After a relatively short journey, Portugal welcomed the squad with cool weather and glimpses of sunshine breaking through the clouds. The team will train in these conditions later this afternoon during their official pre-match training session at the match venue, starting at 18:00.

Before that, at 17:00, head coach Montse Tomé and forward Mariona Caldenteyc are scheduled to speak at the pre-match press conference.
