The second international window of 2025 begins!

The Spanish national team, currently competing in the qualifying phase for the UEFA Women's Nations League, head into the second international window of 2025.

Montse Tomé's team returns to the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas to play the 3rd and 4th matches of the UEFA Women 's Nations League qualification. After the matches against Belgium and England, it’s now time for the double-header against Portugal. Spain, reigning champions in the competition, gathered on a sunny afternoon on the last day of March. The squad also have their eyes set on one of their major goals for 2025, the Women's Euro 2025 in Switzerland.

The 23 players called up by the coach have arrived at camp with great enthusiasm, energy, and a strong desire to put points on the board towards their objective in Group A3, which is currently led by the Portuguese team. The Spanish have already secured three points in the group as a result of their glorious comeback win against Belgium in the opening match.

Their next two games are against Portugal, with the first match taking place at the Estádio Capital Do Móvel in Paços de Ferreira on Friday, April 4th at 20:45 local time. The second match is in Vigo, at the Balaídos Stadium, on Tuesday, April 8th at 19:00. Both matches are set to be broadcast live on La 2 of TVE.

Montse Tomé, who surrounded herself with women connected to the fishing industry to announce her squad in what was a special and emotional video, welcomed the international players along with her coaching staff upon their arrival at the team’s base. Tomorrow, the team are set to hold their first training session, which will be open to the public on the Pitch A of the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas. Admission is free until capacity is reached.
