Spain tests out the Geneva turf
Both national coach Luis de la Fuente and player Aymeric Laporte used the press conferences to refer to the state of the pitch at the Stade de Genève as an element to take into account ahead of this Sunday's match against the Swiss in matchday two of group A4 of the UEFA Nations League.
It is a pitch that the players and coaching staff were able to get a first-hand feel of this Saturday in Spain's first official pre-match training session of the season on the pitch where the match is to take place.
Twenty-three players took part in the afternoon training session, with Mikel Oyarzabal, who left the squad on Friday, and Dani Olmo absent as a precaution.

Switzerland, who lost to Denmark three days ago in Copenhagen after two dismissals and two late goals, will be a tough opponent for a Spain side eager for their first win in this year's UEFA Nations League, of which they are the reigning champions.
Refereed by Bosnian referee Irfan Peljto, the Swiss and Iberians will meet on Sunday 8 September at 20:45, Spanish peninsular time, with live television coverage on La1 and extensive coverage on this official channel.
