The final Spain training camp before the Euros begins!

The Spanish national team has gathered in preparation for the matches against Belgium and England in the UEFA Women's Nations League group phase.

Numerous of the players called up by Montse Tomé arrived this morning at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas as the squad heads into the third international window of the year, corresponding to matchdays 5 and 6 of the UEFA Women's Nations League qualifiers. The rest of the group, the players from FC Barcelona and Arsenal who played in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday, are due to arrive at the Las Rozas residence tomorrow, Tuesday.

After thrashing Portugal in the last two matches (matchdays 3 and 4), Spain are looking to continue their title defence and advance to the next phase. Up for grabs, the final six points of Group A3. The national team, currently top of the table, first face Belgium on 30 May at 20:30 at the Den Dreef stadium in Leuven, and then England on Tuesday 3 June at 19:00 at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona.

The squad arrived full of enthusiasm, energy and great excitement for what lies ahead.

Montse Tomé, along with her coaching staff, welcomed the players on their arrival at the national team’s residence. This very afternoon they are scheduled to begin preparing for the match against Belgium. Tomorrow, from 18:15 and with all the players present, training will be open to the public on Pitch A at the Ciudad del Fútbol. Entry is free of charge and open to all until full capacity is reached, and doors will open one hour before training starts.
