In a calm, empty stadium awaiting the heat of another battle, the Spanish national team completed their final training session before the second leg of the UEFA Nations League quarter-finals against the Netherlands. The Mestalla was only open to the media for the first 15 minutes of training, a stark contrast to yesterday, when more than 20,000 fans filled the stands for Spain’s training session held for charitable motives.

The full squad trained under Luis de la Fuente’s staff, including Ayoze, who is suspended for the match, Morata, who missed yesterday’s session due to a stomach issue, and Le Normand, now fully recovered from the knock he suffered at ‘De Kuip’.
