At around five o'clock in the afternoon (Spanish peninsular time) on Thursday 14 November, the Iberia plane carrying the Spanish national team took off from Adolfo Suárez-Madrid Barajas airport bound for the Danish capital, where the players and coaching staff are scheduled to land around three hours later.

Spain are set to be based in Copenhagen until Saturday when the squad will travel from Denmark directly to the island of Tenerife.

The national coach, Luis de la Fuente, and the player Dani Olmo are set to hold press conferences on Thursday evening at the Parken stadium, the venue for the match against the Nordic team on Friday at 20:45h.

The national team needs a draw or better against Denmark to secure top spot in Group A4 of the UEFA Nations League, a competition in which Spain are reigning champions and the quarter-finals to be played over two legs in March next year.
