The final two matches of the year for the nation’s favourite team will be an opportunity to show solidarity with and in remembrance of the victims of the storms that have ravaged Spain over recent days.

In a Royal Spanish Football Federation initiative, the Spanish national team will be training with open doors over the next week in an initiative that aims to raise funds to help alleviate the effects of the catastrophe in the areas most damaged by the inclement weather.

Firstly, the training session on Tuesday 12 November at 7pm at the Ciudad del Fútbol will be open to fans, who will be able to meet the Spanish internationals as they begin their preparations for their two matches this window.

Once the match against Denmark in Copenhagen is over, the next training session is scheduled for Sunday 17 November, also at 7pm (Canary Islands time) and at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium in Tenerife, when loyal Spain fans will once again be able to enjoy the team's training session live and in person.

The Spain coach, Luis de la Fuente, announced his squad of players this Friday with an emotional message for those affected, a message he later reiterated in the press room, where the coach expressed the squad’s ‘our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims. We are suffering alongside our compatriots and we make ourselves available to help in any way we can. It's time to help those affected’, something Santi Denia, the head of the U21 team, also expressed.
