The RFEF pays tribute to the clubs where the national team stars developed

Spanish football wants to recognise the importance of the Spanish national football team players’ original clubs. For this reason, the RFEF, through its president Rafael Louzán, issued invitations to the non-professional clubs where the internationals took their first steps.

These clubs, on the day the national team plays the final of the UEFA Nations League, are part of the Real Federación Española expedition party travelling to Germany to follow the final, a group which also includes representatives of the professional clubs where the players of the national team currently play.

Thus, during the outbound flight to Germany, Rafael Louzán presented each representative of the clubs with a national team shirt bearing the name of the footballer who developed on their pitches.

These are clubs from Andalusia, Catalonia, the Basque Country, the Canary Islands, Extremadura and Madrid, which are now receiving the recognition of Spanish football on another day to remember, as Luis de la Fuente’s side could lift their second UEFA Nations League title this Sunday.
