National team head coach Luis de la Fuente revealed on Friday morning the list of players selected to represent Spain during the international window beginning Monday, 23 March. Spain will host Serbia at the Estadio de la Cerámica on Friday, 27 March at 21:00, followed by a match against Egypt at the RCDE Stadium on Tuesday, 31 March.

Following the cancellation of the Finalissima on 15 March, Spain will face the Balkan side led by Veljko Paunović and the African team coached by Hossam Hassan. Spain and Serbia have met on three occasions to date, with a record of two wins and one draw in favour of Spain. Meanwhile, the national team and Egypt have faced each other only once: in May 2006 at the Martínez Valero Stadium in Elche, with a 2-0 victory for Spain.

A total of 27 players have been called up by Luis de la Fuente for this first training camp of 2026, the final international window before the FIFA World Cup, which will take place from 11 June to 19 July across Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

Joan Garcia, Cristhian Mosquera, Ander Barrenetxea, and Víctor Muñoz have received their first call-ups to the senior national team.

This selection will also feature a special element: Spain will debut its new away kit, inspired by the country’s literary tradition and featuring the iconic adidas Trefoil logo, returning to the national jersey at a World Cup for the first time in 36 years.

For the official squad announcement, Luis de la Fuente was joined by Argentine content creators Jero Freixas and Jose de Cabo, highlighting the cultural connection between Spain and Argentina and the shared passion for football.

The list of selected players is as follows:
