Pedro Rocha gives a statement to the regional presidents regarding the progress made in the RFEF following his appointment.

The president of the Management Committee has appealed for unity in Spanish football.

The president of the RFEF's management committee, Pedro Rocha, today held a meeting with the regional presidents who manage football in their respective regions and who make up the Committee which met today at the Ciudad del Fútbol. The aim of the meeting was to give an account of the steps that have been taken and the decisions made in recent weeks, now that the federation has stabilised under new leadership.

He also wanted to show the importance of "standing together" in this period of transition and to continue advancing in the progress of football, both in Spain and elsewhere. Rocha once again reiterated his intention to build bridges and resume dialogue with the different footballing stakeholders, leaving behind existing conflicts, in the interests of the sport in Spain.

In this regard, he reviewed the meetings held with LaLiga, the Liga F, and AFE; he also spoke about the conversations held with the president of UEFA, Aleksander Ceferin; and the charter of the Mixed Commission made up of the Federation, CSD and players.

Rocha also detailed the various changes made to the federation's own structure and, in particular, the great commitment to the 2030 World Cup bid, which is due to be launched next Saturday 28th in Morocco.
