Despite the Ballon d'ors held by Alexia and Aitana, the streets of Mollet del Vallès and Sant Pere de Ribes have witnessed their whole golden paths in the game. From the future stars’ first touches of the ball... to them lifting the World Cup and Nations League trophies to the sky! Catalonia, birthplace of great footballers and the land where the double Ballon d'Or winners, Putellas and Bonmatí, were born, will now play host to the World Champions... And it will see that gold turn red in the colours of Spain.

Red Gold, the campaign launched by the Royal Spanish Football Federation to mark the occasion of the international match between Spain and England at the RCDE Stadium, is part of the promotional initiatives being pushed in this new campaign with the aim of boosting women's football.
