Spain complete their official pre-match training in Las Rozas before travelling to Belgium

The sun and scorching heat at La Ciudad del Fútbol were on hand to witness the final training session before tomorrow’s clash, Friday at 20:30, at the Den Dreef Stadium in Leuven, against Belgium (RTVE). The Spanish internationals will take on the Belgians in the fifth match of the UEFA Women’s Nations League group stage, with the aim of winning and holding onto top spot in their group, A3.

Under the guidance of Montse Tomé and her coaching staff, the squad completed a long and demanding session, preparing intensely for a match against a team they defeated on the opening day with a remarkable comeback.

Out on Pitch A in Las Rozas, the players – including Lucía Corrales, who joins the squad following Laia Codina’s withdrawa– focused on ball work as well as tactical and technical aspects before facing Elísabet Gunnarsdóttir’s side. A match that will require full concentration, just as was shown in this morning’s official training session.

The National Team travel this afternoon to Brussels, where they will stay and complete their media duties.
