The draw for the Copa del Rey second round takes place this Wednesday.
The draw, in which 56 teams will participate, will take place at 13:00 in the Luis Aragonés room at the Ciudad del Fútbol.
54 of the 56 teams that will be present in the draw to play for a place the Last 16 of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE are already known. The two remaining places will be decided this Tuesday with the last two matches of the first round, postponed by flooding in October.
CP Parla Escuela-Valencia CF and Manises CF-Getafe CF, the last two ties to be decided.
The pots will be made up of 14 teams from the First Division - pending the results of Valencia CF and Getafe CF on Tuesday afternoon -, 15 from the Second Division - with the addition of RC Deportivo de La Coruña -, 11 from the First Federation and 14 from the Second Federation. Should they win their respective matches, CP Parla Escuela and Manises CF would be the only representatives of the regional federations left in the cup.
The draw for the second round of the Copa del Rey will take place on Wednesday 26 November at 13:00. The 28 matches will take place on 3, 4 and 5 December 2024.

The excitement and magic of the most prestigious tournament in Spanish football is back. The draw will provide another opportunity for 56 teams to try to continue their journey in the Copa del Rey and, ultimately, write their name in the history books of this knockout tournament.
The 55 clubs that made it through the first round will be joined by RC Deportivo de La Coruña, champions of the Primera Federación, who begin their cup run at this stage.
Athletic Club, Real Madrid CF, RCD Mallorca and FC Barcelona, teams that will take part in this season’s Spanish Super Cup, are exempt from playing the first two rounds of the Copa del Rey.
The Luis Aragonés hall at the Ciudad del Fútbol will once again be the chosen venue for an event that can be followed live via streaming on RFEF.es and through the RFEF's official channels. In addition, Teledeporte and Movistar+ will broadcast the draw live.
