Rafael Louzán meets with the president of the Andalusian regional government

The head of the Royal Spanish Football Federation held a series of important working meetings in Seville on Tuesday, which he concluded with a meeting with the mayor of the Andalusian capital.

On Tuesday, the Palacio de San Telmo hosted a fruitful working meeting between the presidents of the Royal Spanish Football Federation and the Junta de Andalucía (Andalusian regional government), followed by Rafael Louzán's meeting with the mayor of Seville, José Luis Sanz, at the city’s townhall.

After his morning visit to the Ciudad Deportiva Luis del Sol, where he held a meeting with the president of Real Betis Balompìé, Ángel Haro, Rafael Louzán met with the Andalusian president at the Palacio de San Telmo in Seville, accompanied by the president of the Royal Andalusian Football Federation, Pedro Curtido and the secretary general of the RFEF, Álvaro de Miguel, during a meeting which was also attended by the Andalusian Regional Minister of Culture and Sport, Patricia del Pozo.

At the end of the meeting, Louzán thanked the group for the receptiveness of President Juan Manuel Moreno and the total collaboration that the federation always finds in such an important place in Spain as Seville and in the whole Andalusian region, where for years the RFEF has been holding significant events such as national team matches across different age categories or the final of the Copa del Rey, which this April will be played in the La Cartuja stadium, also the venue for the 2030 World Cup’.

The president of the RFEF ended his round of meetings this Tuesday at the headquarters of the Seville City Council by meeting with the mayor of the Andalusian capital, while next week Rafael Louzán will meet with the president of Sevilla FC, José María del Nido Carrasco.

After Tuesday, the head of the Royal Spanish Football Federation plans to visit the refurbished La Cartuja stadium in Seville on Wednesday morning , one of the eleven confirmed venues in our country for the final phase of the 2030 World Cup, which Spain will host along with Morocco and Portugal in 2030.
