Spain sitting pretty at the top of their Euro 2025 qualifying group

Montse Tomé's team have won both their matches and lead Euro 2025 qualifying Group A2 in the race to get through to the tournament in Switzerland.

With victories against Belgium (0-7) and Czech Republic (3-1), the Spanish National Team remains in control of its path to the Euros.

Spain kicked off this qualification phase with a thrashing of Belgium at the Den Dreef Stadion in Leuven thanks to a hat-trick by Salma Paralluelo, a brace by Esther González and goals by Jenni Hermoso and Sheila García.

On Tuesday, in Spain's first match at home of the campaign, the national team came from behind against the Czech Republic to win 3-1 with goals from María Méndez, Jenni and Mariona Caldentey.

Just like Spain, Denmark have also won their two matches against Czech Republic (1-3) and Belgium (4-2). The Danes, our next opponents, are second on the same points as Spain. The Czech Republic and Belgium have yet to score any points.

In the next international window, the Spanish National Team take on the Danes in a double header, which will prove vital in for the qualification for the 2025 European Championships in Switzerland. On May 31, Spain will travel to Vejle and, four days later, the Danes will visit the Heliodoro Rodríguez López Stadium in Tenerife to play against our women.
