The president of the RFEF takes part in the 75th FIFA Congress
Rafael Louzán has given a very positive assessment of the work carried out over the past few days in Paraguay: "We will continue working for football"

In what has been its first ordinary congress held in the current decade on the continent of South American, FIFA has concluded the 75th global meeting in its history in the Paraguayan city of Asunción, during which the governing body has adopted important measures for the present and future of football.
The president of the RFEF, Rafael Louzán, was one of the leaders taking part in the event, during which "we had the opportunity to meet with many presidents from all over the world, especially with Gianni Infantino and with the legal head Emilio García Silvero. It has been a wonderful experience in the great country of Paraguay. We will continue working for football here and in Europe. We are in a very exciting moment, with a Club World Cup underway and many other competitions from which we also hope to emerge victorious," as he declared at the conclusion of the congress held in Asunción.
The secretary general of the RFEF, Álvaro de Miguel, and the director of Institutional Relations of the organisation, Eduard Dervishaj, were also present at the meeting, which brought together 211 national federations and during which the FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, highlighted the work done with the governments of various countries to ensure that the fight against racism becomes part of criminal legislation worldwide.

Another noteworthy intervention was that of Alejandro Domínguez, head of the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol), who mentioned the importance of reflecting on the future of football and beginning to work towards a 2030 World Cup that is truly for everyone, a unique milestone that will mark the 100th anniversary of the tournament.
As an evaluation of these days of intense work in the Paraguay, the president of the RFEF emphasised that "we have enjoyed a few days of great activity with organisations such as the Paraguayan Football Association, which will be co-hosting the organisation of the 2030 World Cup, along with Argentina and Uruguay, to whose presidents we have also spoken. We have shared very emotional moments as well with colleagues from many parts of the world, who fondly remember their experiences in our country. It has been, in short, an extremely pleasant experience during these days in Paraguay," he summarised at the conclusion of the congress organised by FIFA.
