On the very day that the Spanish national team began its first training camp of the year at the Ciudad del Fútbol, the president of the RFEF met with the players and coaching staff on their arrival at the training camp in Las Rozas.

In an atmosphere of cordial dialogue, Rafael Louzán wanted to convey the gratitude of the institution he presides over to all the members of the women's national team for their work and commitment. Something that will be called upon again this Friday in Valencia with the match against Belgium as part of the group stage of the UEFA Nations League.

Accompanied by coach Montse Tomé, the head of the RFEF confessed to the players that ‘we are aware of the challenges ahead of us’ and asked the internationals to combine ‘being able to enjoy themselves on the pitch with carrying the responsibility of being Brand Spain’.

For their part, the 23 players called up for the matches against Belgium and England thanked the RFEF president for his visit. The president will be at the Ciutat de València and Wembley stadiums for the reigning world champions' first two matches of the year.
